'Comfortably Numb' (featuring David Bowie) 23 songs was the most we could possibly cram onto disc one, but we are happy to announce that disc two will include the following five bonus tracks from the Royal Albert Hall shows of May 2006: 'Wot's... Uh The Deal', 'Dominoes', 'Wearing The Inside Out', 'Arnold Layne' and 'Comfortably Numb'. So that does mean Richard Wright singing 'Arnold Layne'. However, it does not mean Nick Mason playing drums on 'Comfortably Numb'. Nick's appearance is not included. Because DVDs are released on a Tuesday in the US, the North American date will be Tuesday 18th September.

David covered this song twice during his summer tour of Europe, and talks about his decision to first perform it - at Austria's Klam Castle - on 'Breaking Bread, Drinking Wine', Gavin Elder's tour documentary. (Don't say that David isn't good to you.) In January, David recorded a new version of 'Island Jam', with Richard, Stevie and Guy. We're sure that you'll love it. So sure, in fact, that it will be on disc two. 'Remember That Night' is released worldwide in September. Disc one contains 23 songs from the Royal Albert Hall, London. If you still don't know which songs are on there, please click here. By the way, for those who were confused: 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond' is plain old 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond' on this DVD. W prawie 1.5 godzinnej projekcji zaprezentowano 4 kawałki z "On a island"tzn. tytułowy,"This heaven","The blue" i "Take a breath".A potem to już poleciała klasyka floydowa :"Shine on you crazy diamond","Time","Arnold Layne" z Davidem Bowiem,"Wish you were here" i "Echoes" Później kilka pytañ od widowni do Davida Gilmoura,a na samym końcu 10 minutowy jam z całym zespołem. Koncert z Royal Albert Hall fantastycznie sfilmowany,dźwięk rewelacyjny ( a jakże inaczej)...czyli nic innego jak czekać do 17-tego września na pojawienie się DVD w sklepach

Gwoli ścisłości cała premiera miała miejsce w jednym z londyńskich kin,a z niego sygnał był wysłany poprzez satelitę do kilkunastu kin w Europie.Ja natomiast byłem w Cameo Pictureshouse w Edynburgu.Ale i tak wrażenia niesamowite...

Przemek Worm Dołączył: 16 Sie 2006 Posty: 10 Przeczytał: 0 tematów Ostrzeżeń: 0/3 Skąd: Malbork\Edynburg	Wysłany: Pią 12:03, 07 Wrz 2007    Temat postu:   Już sam początek był znakomity.Jeszcze przed główną projekcją prezentowane były fragmenty z dokumentalnego filmu z przebiegu trasy koncertowej z 2006r.Gdy wchodziłem na salę kinową akurat leciał kawałek dotyczący koncertu w Gdańsku.Konferencja prasowa,spotkanie Gilmoura z Wałęsą,składanie kwiatów pod pomnikiem Stoczniowców,malutki fragment "Great day for freedom" z próby i kawałeczek solówki z "Comfortably numb".Całość opatrzona komentarzem Gilmoura . Niesamowite wrażenie .... Znalazlem linka do wczorajszych pytań do Gilmoura. Konkretów zbyt dużo nie podawał,bo atmosfera była dość luźna,David pozwalał sobie na żartobliwe odpowiedzi [link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
