| Cytat: News is reaching us from some good, reliable sources that the very highly anticipated live DVD from David Gilmour's 2006 tour, shot over three nights at London's Royal Albert Hall, should be out on March 27th.
The 2-disc set, apparently called "Remember That Night" (a lyric from the title track of David's On An Island album), is said to include over 100 minutes of additional material on disc two, including a documentary.
We're trying to get more details and official confirmation on this, but based on the pounding our inbox is getting from those desperate for the DVD, we thought we'd let you know! |

News is reaching us from a good, reliable source (a Mr David Gilmour, you might have heard of him?) that an unconfirmed rumour, again started by one well-known Pink Floyd fansite, is incorrect. Again.
David's forthcoming live DVD will be called 'Remember That Night', but it certainly will not be out on 27 March. 27 May looks more likely at this time (and no, that is not a date for your calendars, it's merely a reality check to put this silly rumour to bed right now).
We will confirm the release date when we are in a position to do so.
Put simply, the DVD isn't finished yet and it would be foolishly premature to announce any date of release at this point - which is exactly why we haven't done so.
We'd like to remind you that if it's real news you're after, then David's official site tends to be a bit more accurate than fansites. We are less interested in blurting out whispered half-truths just to look good than we are in giving you precise, honest information.
You might have to wait for it longer than you'd like, but we'd rather keep you waiting than raise, then dash, the hopes of David's fans.
We'll have more precise, honest information for you soon.
Now, can anyone remind me of that "tabloid" remark I made in relation to fansites recently?

The main one is called 'Breaking Bread, Drinking Wine'. Shot by Gavin Elder, it contains behind-the-scenes footage of the tour, from the rehearsals in Bray (that is, after the first European and American legs), through to Gdansk.
The second is a short, but funny, film shot on the West Coast of America. According to David, it will include "some hilarious, but drunken stuff" shot by Richard backstage in LA.
There will also be a documentary on the making of 'On An Island'. |

Because DVDs are released on a Tuesday in the US, the North American date will be Tuesday 18th September.
There will be regular communiqués regarding the content of the DVD (updated regularly on The Blog), but suffice to say it is a work of many layers which has required much post-production and planning.

hm jak narazie to chyba jeszcze daty premiery ani razu nie przelozyli , dopiero dzisiaj podali pierwsza date .... tylko szkoda, ze roku nie podali
